For those who enjoy freshly baked goods, Wahshun Bakery is a hidden gem amidst the best few Queenstown bakeries. This Queenstown bakery offers a wide selection of sweets to suit any palate. Their dedication to quality and flavour is evident in every bite, whether you’re craving their delicious mooncakes or a classic banana cake. Wahshun Bakery provides patrons of all ages with a great experience with its cosy atmosphere and welcoming staff. Their famous Portuguese egg tarts and peach tarts are not to be missed; you’ll be craving for more!
Business Reviews:
1. A cosy bakery. I bought a banana cake and 3 tarts, as all other items were sold out.. The banana cake taste nice, not so sweet, so elderly can eat.. “The cakes were baked fresh everyday”- the lady boss said.. My cake items were put in a nice box – thank you lady boss!
2. Their bread quality and taste is really premium. Bought the box set consisting of French baguette, cranberry, multigrain, otak mentaiko mayo, roasted pepperoni and potatoes. The bread was soft, moist and chewy. Definitely not your usual void deck bakery. Bread was supposed to be after dinner but didn’t last till then. 😂
3. Found this new bakery in the neighbourhood! They are newly opened on 9 Sep and are selling a variety of pastries and mooncakes currently! I bought a Teochew mooncake, 2 Portuguese egg tarts and a peach tart. The peach tart was really delicious, the right thickness of crust and the right sweetness. The egg tart had a slightly thicker skin, but the custard had a different vibe, a tinge of zest perhaps? In all, the selection is really nice, and I’ll come back to try their other offers!

2. Tiong Bahru Bakery
Tucked away in Anchorpoint Mall, Tiong Bahru Bakery dazzles with its delectable menu and warm atmosphere. The large arrangement, which is accentuated by the tall ceiling, produces a relaxed atmosphere ideal for lounging. Enjoy a wide selection of freshly produced, flavour-bursting pastries, both savoury and sweet. The pleasant staff, which includes a standout white man with a loud voice, enhances the experience. Tiong Bahru Bakery is a fantastic option for a lovely bakery experience in Queenstown.
Business Reviews:
1. Out of all TBB outlets I’ve been to, this one is significantly more pleasant to sit and chill at. I love the vibes and the bakes are excellent. I’m not really a coffee guy but my friends liked it. The kouign-amann was fantastic, the almond croissant not as great but still good, but the apple crumble was only fine.
2. I love their apple crumble, and the standards have maintained, though I’d prefer they served it warmer. The Nymph of the Nile tea is also highly recommended. They took over Xin Wang iirc, and it’s all the way at the corner of Anchorpoint. Never noticed the high ceiling there before, but that give TBB a chill vibe. There’s a white dude working there with a booming voice and a cheery disposition. He also has a creative way of telling you that they’re closing and you should leave, so experience it for yourself! Overall, love the chill vibe, though my favourite TBB is still the safari one.
3. Enjoyed this Tiong Bharu bakery outlet. It is located on the west end of Anchorpoint Mall near the KFC. Lots of savoury and sweet pastries on offer and the dishes we ordered tasted fresh and delicious. Coffee was good and the ambience was pleasant and relaxing on a Saturday morning. Worth a visit if you’re around the area.

Tried the sea salt choco today 4/5 yummy but not chocolate-y enough for me,, so prefer the devil more 😋 if u are a choco lover like me, just get the devil choco! I bought from their beauty world outlet located at 2nd or 3rd floor!
2. Love the Japanese cream puffs from this shop in Beauty World. It’s so light and fluffy – eaten best when cold! And it’s so reasonably priced at $4.5 for 6 medium sized puffs. Shall try their other items next time!😊
