Business Reviews:
1. Lai heng is a good place if you want to eat food like oyster omelette, fried kway teow and carrot cake. Near lai heng there are 4 drink stalls. The stall in the row behind lai heng drink are not really good. The drink stall in the same row as lai heng has crunchy Kaya toast. Many of the elderly hang out here in the morning. At the other end, there is a Halal fried kway teow store that is tasty. Near the fried kway teow stall, there is a good carrot cake stall. The drink stall near there has a really long queue in the morning. They have softer Kaya toast than the one near lai heng. The mutton soup stall near the kopitiam will always have a long queue and they only sell during certain days.
2. Best chicken briyani in singapore.. finger kiss. Hands down. No contest.
3. Many varieties of food & new food stalls. Latest update new fried prawns hokkien Mee stall opens.

3. Beo Crescent Market
Beo Crescent Market is a hidden gem offering a delightful mix of traditional and unique flavours. Despite a slightly stuffy layout, the variety of local food makes it worth a visit. Vegetarian delights are abundant at the hawker, alongside mouth-watering mock meat dishes. Indulge in affordable yet tasty options like bee hoon. Treat your sweet tooth with traditional tutu kueh, a must-have post-lunch dessert. This hawker centre ensures that their patrons never walk away dissatisfied with the food selection, always introducing something new to their palate. Indeed, Beo Crescent Market is a food haven waiting to be explored.
Business Reviews:
1. The hawker has a vegetarian stall, selling beehoon, rice, kway teow and other vege and mock meat dishes. Quite affordable and tasty. There is also a yummy tutu kueh stall, 5 pcs at $3, very yummy too. Tends to like to buy somehing sweet to eat after lunch, tutu kueh is my go to.
2. A little stuffy because of the layout, but worth braving the heat for the variety of local food. My favourites are the ban mian stall (mee hoon kuay is hand torn and delightful because of the rough edges) and the fried carrot cake (same stall as ban mian) is so delicious! Always slightly charred, fragrant and absolutely tasty.
3. This might not be stranger to some. Nicely tucked away in beo crescent. Ordered $5 and added $2 of Hum (blood cockles). The main character of this dish is the chili (a nice kick to the dish), dark sweet sauce (suspect they made the concoction themselves) and not forgetting the “bui bui” hum. Love the semi-wet and not too dry texture. For people who like the slight wet CKT. This is for u.

4. Havelock Road Cooked Food Centre
Havelock Road Cooked Food Centre is a cherished “hideout” offering a tranquil breakfast experience amidst bustling Singapore. Savour delicious prawn noodles, hearty porridge, and local kueh. Its calm atmosphere and understated elegance offer a welcome diversion from the bustle of the city in just a few short minutes’ walk. Despite its modest size, the centre features experienced hawkers serving up delicious fare, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.
Business Reviews:
1. Simply love this little “hideout” which I gravitate to, when I want a quiet place to take in the food and atmosphere during breakfast. The key attractions are prawn noodles, porridge and the tutu dessert. However, I do find the carrot cake fried with plentiful chye poh a delightful indulgence and for $3 a helping, it is truly a steal and a gem to savour. The laid back atmosphere and quietude this food centre exudes, during breakfast, is simply soothing and beckoning to me…a true reprieve from the madding crowd, just a short 5 minutes drive away.
2. One of the best DuDu you can find in Singapore, prices here are unmatched elsewhere. Small ones at 5 for 3 dollars and big at 1 for 1.20. The flour used is made in-house which ensures maximum freshness and the taste is unbeatable compared to other dudu shops. Overall friendly staff and waiting time is reasonable, highly recommend to drop by and try it for yourself.
3. A small Food Centre with not many stalls, yet all the old and experienced hawkers with great skills and nice food.
