One of the fastest growing workouts is yoga. This is no surprise since it is a fantastic workout for both your body and mind – you can adapt and customise the practices to your own speed and level of comfort. Furthermore, there are so many types of yoga to choose from. Do you prefer a relaxing Zen yoga class or a heart-pumping high-intensity interval training (HIIT) Yoga session? No matter which yoga exercises you choose, the practices will always be part of a great workout routine!
That said, if you often yearn to take a break from the hustle and bustle of your busy life – then yoga is strongly recommended to give your mind a sense of peace. Being known as an activity to reduce stress and relax the body, more people are signing up for yoga classes after realising its significant impact on their hectic lifestyle.

1. Yoga Inc.
Offering classes catered to both beginners and experienced yoga practitioners, Yoga Inc’s classes welcome all individuals. If you are a beginner, then you should sign up for the basics class. In this class, the physical intensity varies between mild and moderate, with the instructors focusing on demonstrating and explaining the basics and the right techniques of yoga. And if you’re looking for an alternative yoga option – the basic classes offer hot yoga as well. On the plus side, according to Yoga Inc – the basic classes are 1/5 on the difficulty scale so fret not if you lack experience in yoga!
Apart from the basic classes, the more experienced yoga practitioners can sign up for core classes that promote general strength and flexibility or even look forward to 7 of the other classes offered. Yoga Inc focuses on delivering a relaxed experience to all their customers – which is evident in the many facilities offered like the shower cubicles and the bath and face towel! Hence, you are guaranteed to have a positive experience in a studio like this.
Been attending since they opened this outlet, and still one of favourite yoga studios with reasonable package prices for good quality teaching after attending a number of other studios. Highly recommended!
My experience here has been awesome. I enjoyed the Hatha 2 class the most, Fiona really pushed me to my limits (i died for a bit but i’m back now) with a lot of focus on my posture and alignment. My other classes with Joy (who has a really warm personality btw) were also very fun and engaging!

2. Real Yoga
With the vision of being a total wellness studio for their customers, Real Yoga implements the four pillars of yoga into their practice – care, body, mind and hot. Under each pillar, they offer a range of classes to customers with different issues or reasons for joining a class. This allows their students to reap benefits from the effects of all four pillars, no matter what point they are in their yoga journey and regardless of their lifestyle.
Real Yoga also takes their student’s convenience into account and is opening more studios throughout Singapore. In addition to that, they also have an app for their students to check the availability of their classes and even to book their own yoga mat. As of now, they boast an impressive number of 8000 students and counting since their establishment in 2008. This is due to the experience that their qualified instructors possess – such as Master Saumik Bera, who also started Real Yoga, started practising yoga at the age of 5 and has been teaching for over 20 years. With their instructors’ years of expertise in the yoga industry – you are sure to have a delightful learning experience while with Real Yoga!
I have been doing PT with Real Yoga for two years and I have benefitted both physically and mentally from each lesson. I am immensely grateful to have a teacher who is both extremely knowledgeable and infinitely patient with me. I realise that I tend not to try as hard as I should in group classes, but he will encourage me to try just a little bit harder during each PT session and this has helped me to deepen my practice immeasurably!
It’s been eight 8 years since I’ve started PT with Real Yoga and have been practicing for a total of 9 years. I chose to start PT once a week to give my body the stretch it deserves. By going for my PT classes, my teachers have brought out the best in me and helped me achieve my end goals. Looking back at what I have accomplished, I am so proud of where I am right now in my Yoga practice as I never would have been able to establish plateaus if not for personal training

3. Mind Body Symphony
Just like its name, Mind Body Symphony is focused on utilising yoga exercises to create harmony between the internal and external aspects of our body. One thing that sets Mind Body Symphony apart from other yoga studios is the retreats that they bring their students on. Not only are the students able to travel and practice what they learn in various camps, but they are also exposed to other like-minded individuals during these trips. This allows them to form bonds with people who have the same passion for yoga and build a community.
Mind Body Symphony also offers yoga therapy classes that are specific to common issues people face. For example, a package of 4 lessons is offered for those suffering from lower back pain. In these classes, you will be taught the techniques of yoga to align both your mind and body and yoga postures to alleviate the pain.
Yoga with a master like Abha is not only an exercise but a wholesome experience. She gives individual attention for each of us even in a zoom session.
Abha weaves the classes in such a way that after each classes I feel peaceful, challenged and content.
Abha is wonderful teacher. She is my first yoga instructor and I haven’t found anyone better than her. She always encourage you push yourself. Her classes provide great learning experience and are always fun.

The affordable yet quality lessons are a driving factor to why people choose Ming Zhi Fitness and Wellness as their yoga home. I had came across Ming Zhi Fitness and Wellness in early 2020. The pre-natal yoga teachers (Ms Lakshimi and Ms Arthi) had gave a lot of encouragement and advises on the techniques to relax during the labour. Even though I had only been able to attended only a few sessions due to COVID 19 Situation, I was able to give birth naturally without epidural with the breathing and relaxation techniques taught. Vernon and Maggie were helpful with the arrangements and able to accommodate my requests and enquires.

Been taking classes at their new branch in Tampines. really nice facilities & teachers are caring too. if you get any concern, just ask and you get to be explained. hardly can get such teachers as here who go around class and adjust your posture, plus encourage you to go deeper. some may feel it’s tough (due to the pain), but to me, it’s good and i love it. keep it up, Trust yoga!
