Business Reviews:
1. Hidden Gem is a phrase used too frequently but it’s super apt for this place. Very cozy + owner is knowledgeable and personable. Coffee is excellent with beans that are not commonly found around. Excellent experience 10/10.
2. Recently I saw YouTuber came to this coffee shop and tried the taro latte. So today I also come here and try the taro latte, it’s good to drink, and the taste of body is strong. I’ll note this store to my favorite list.👍
3. Definitely some top level coffee. I love that they put in the effort to make a nice sticker and put it on their takeaway cup. Place inside is small and have limited seats against the wall. The aroma of the coffee is strong so if you like that smell it’ll be what you’ll be smelling when you’re inside. Had their speciality coffee – hot osmanthus coffee and taro iced coffee. But we’re good with slight hints of each of the ingredients.

Cafe Monochrome is Singapore’s first 2D-themed café, located in the heart of Chinatown. Its striking black-and-white interior creates a surreal, comic-book-like experience that is both playful and artistic. The café serves a wide variety of dishes, including pastas, rice bowls, pizzas, and desserts, alongside specialty coffee and tea. The unique visual concept makes it a popular destination for photography enthusiasts and those seeking a whimsical dining experience. Despite its bold aesthetic, the atmosphere remains relaxed and inviting, perfect for casual meetups or solo visits. Business Reviews:
1. Great cafe for having good rest after strolling around china town and aesthetic photos, great food and coffee too, my personal recommendation would be Latte and Ice chocolate
2. I had an amazing experience at this cafe! I ordered the salted caramel, and it was absolutely delicious – the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The interior of the cafe is incredibly unique, with a cozy atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to hang out. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great treats and a wonderful vibe.
3. I finally visited the much-talked-about Monochrome Café in the heart of Singapore — and wow, stepping inside felt like walking into a 2D sketchbook! Every corner was designed in black and white, giving off surreal, cartoon vibes that made it perfect for photos. I ordered the truffle fries and the match trinity. The food was surprisingly flavorful, with the latte having a rich, smooth finish. While the menu wasn’t extensive, what they offered was well-crafted and nicely presented. Service was friendly and prompt. The staff even offered to take a photo for me at their most popular “photo corner.” Prices were slightly above average, but I’d say you’re paying for both the taste and the experience. Overall, it’s a great spot for catching up with friends or having a quirky solo café day. Would definitely come back to try more items and snap a few more shots!

The flavors are vibrant and fresh – it’s clear they use high-quality ingredients. The service has also remained top-notch; the staff is friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. 2. I can’t recommend Awesome Cafe enough! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. We hosted a private event here, and the team went above and beyond with thoughtful arrangements and beautiful decorations that made the occasion even more special. Everything was handled with so much care and attention to detail. A huge thank you to the entire team for making it such a memorable experience for us and our guests. Truly a place that lives up to its name—totally awesome! We’ll definitely be back.
3. Came here out of curiosity after hearing many good things about the place. The turmeric curry is quite delicious. It’s thick and goes well with the baguette. It also has small cherry tomatoes inside which provide a small burst of acidity. Interesting! We had the pleasure of interacting with Kumar, who explained the dishes to us in depth and was very hospitable! Place was about 90% full on a Sunday brunch timing. They did keep the music down and the ceilings are high, so not too noisy despite the crowd. 👍
