Business Reviews:
1. In addition to Song Fa and Huang Ya Xi, Fa Chuan Ren Bak Kut Teh has a milder peppery taste and can be refilled, so it is recommended.
2. The soup is warmer and the ribs are tenderer than the other two restaurants.
3. I was worried because other reviews said there was a lot of odor. I ate it deliciously without any odor. I went at 9pm and there was no wait. I was hungry so I ordered a lot of food and ate it. What my wife and I ordered was A2 B1 B9 F1 D9. A2 Bak Kut Teh with garlic. B1 Looks like steamed pig’s feet (I ate it without the cilantro). B9 Pork Cutlet. F1 Stir-fried Vegetables (with garlic). gD9 There was no water on the menu so I just ordered it, Sungnyung + morning sunlight. When I paid, I realized that I was charged for wet towels. I think it tasted good!

Business Reviews:
1. Rich soup broth has just the right balance of sweet and saltiness. Very tender pork ribs. Non herbal and non-peppery.
2. I was brought here as a child by my dad, who also had this for many years before me. Been patronizing this stall every after my father has passed; the taste brings back good memories and it is by far my favourite hokkien style BKT. Black soup with tender pork, youtiao seeped in the broth makes it juicy and crispy on the outside, rice with the soup is the best kind of “pao fan” I like, salted veg and peanuts are also delicious. Aunty is friendly and remembers me as a regular. I have been coming here for over 20 years and see myself patronizing until aunty retires.
3. Very black but not strong spice at all. Our country’s stewed rice has no cinnamon. I like the clear version where the pepper is much clearer. The bowl is big, good for 2 people to share. The pork was falling off the bone and the tofu was delicious. Went to eat in the morning around 9:00 a.m. There was no one there on Monday. But there are people who keep coming to eat.

Business Reviews:
1. Had a steamy and delicious time at 旺爐 City Hot Pot – Steamboat Home Delivery in One Raffles Place! 🌟 Tried their set for 2, and it was a hot pot heaven that warmed my heart and filled my belly! 🍲 Now, let me talk about the star of the show – the Braised Pork Rice. I tell you, it’s not your average hot pot add-on. It’s a game-changer, a taste sensation that sets 旺爐 apart. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rice soaked up all those rich, savory flavors. Every bite was like a hug from your grandma’s kitchen – comforting and oh-so-delicious! 🥘🤤 旺爐, you’ve got the hot pot game strong! The variety of broth was impressive. The tomato and bakuteh soup was so flavorful, and the service was friendly. This place is a must-try for hot pot lovers!
2. My 4th time to City Hot Pot. Has went to Jurong Point and Tanjong Pagar before. Yesterday went to the one at One Raffles Place. Quitet atmosphere and our laughters filled the whole place. Machiam we 包场 like that. Fresh seafood and nice soup based. Hmmmmm but those who like tomato soup, can missed at this store. I personally love the herbal chicken soup, bah kut teh and laksa. The rest havent really tried. Varities of soup based to choose from indeed. You are able to choose a dual soup base, some which needs to add in $1-$3 for certain soup based. However friends commented that the tomato soup is diluted despites add in more tomatoes by the friendly waiter. So if u like thick soup base, guess u may opt out of tomato 🍅 soup ba. I like the chilli counter as there are varieties of condiments you can choose from. But lack of oyster sauce which i prefer. Servings are just nice for 4 pax set meal for 6 ppl. In fact left 10% food i think. All went home happy and 饱饱. For all the food, each of us paying around $32 each. Not the cheapest but reasonable. The set meal is definitely more worth it compared to ala carte unless you are eating alone and not a big eater. Food: ☆☆☆☆. Cleanliness: ☆☆☆☆. Service: ☆☆☆. Price: ☆☆☆. #cityhotpot
3. Ordered City Hot Pot delivery for the two person set meal, along with an electric hot pot. Food arrived late and the electric hot pot was faulty. The manager offered to deliver another electric hot pot upon calling them. Ingredients were fresh. Soup base (Bak Kut Teh) and Fish Maw soup were ordered and were pleasant. Will recommend the restaurant and delivery only if you can’t go to the restaurant.
