1. Quality tarts and pies! They specialise in HK-style which are crumbly as opposed to flaky. And they’re delicious. They come in different flavours (original, milk tea, etc.) The egg tart is smooth, with the crust being the highlight for me – good texture, buttery, and with the right amount of sweetness. The chicken pie have chunky chicken bits and actually quite filling.
2. Delicious Egg Tart and Pandan Cake. I also like their Walnut cake. Good price, located inside Novena Square, Tai Cheong consider old legend bakery in Singapore, worth it to try while you are in town.
3. Delicious egg tart! Had it fresh on the day of purchase and it was yummy. I loved the buttery notes and the bits of crunch in the shortbread tart shell. The egg custard had the right amount of sweetness, firmness and wobble. I ate another piece 2 days after purchase (kept in fridge + reheated in a toaster oven). It wasn’t as good as the tart shell had lost a wee bit of its texture, hence these are best enjoyed fresh!

2. My purpose of writing is for a special reason. I wish to commend two wonderful staffs from this outlet. I visited on 9th Mar at 1142am. The lady mending the salad bar served two Chinese-speaking aunties who are not well versed in the world of salad. But the young girl on duty was patient and understanding, kindly helping and answering one of the auntie’s queries on what’s nice, what’s good etc. It put a smile to my face. Secondly the lady mending the cashier, upon seeing that the auntie’s tray is quite filled and could be heavy, helped the auntie to bring the tray to her table. Excellent service. I would visit this outlet not for anything else. Good service should be valued and rewarded and commended. Kudos!!!!
3. Best value for money organic healthy food! Great for regular breakfast, lunch dinner as well as a post-workout DIY protein salad combo. Coffee ☕️ is also good if need to couple with a sandwich ! The basil pesto Thins are their unique best creation . Try the Turmeric Honey Latte specially if having a mild cough or even just out of curiosity! Self-service ! Overall great concept and optimised quality ! Revisit on a Monday evening ! Though many items were finished , the staff was helpful to customise the Ocean’s Net bowl with some additions! There was some tempting desserts, pastries and tarts on display as well ! Controlled with difficulty to maintain a healthy dinner . Will return for lunch soon to try those out ! Love coming back here & glad that the service has improved!
