1. The French American Bakery
For those who enjoy pastries and patisserie, the French American Bakery is a must-visit; it offers a unique blend of French and American tastes amongst the top Bugis bakery shops. Even though it may not taste entirely French, the French American Bakery offers a delightful twist with their distinctly American flavour added to the mix. You’ll find it in a green building off North Bridge Road. It’s a popular location, so expect lines, especially early in the day. The variety of pastries, including Bordeaux specialties, makes the little space—which can only hold five patrons at a time—well worth the trip. You’re in for the ideal fusion of French refinement and American sweetness!
Business Reviews:
1. French American bakery is one of must-visit place especially if you love bakery and patisserie. You can find a lot of Bordeaux special menu. For me, this is place is awesome even though the taste not 100% same as French one but totally delicious. I understand because their mix French and American style. All the sweet item taste so American. Oh you better bring cash and it served only for take away. You better hurry take your line in the morning. It’s fave for everyone. I will visit this place next time. Super!
2. Hand’s down the best new bakery in town! Bought a chocolate Nutella swirl, le crookie and hot chocolate and greedily finished it in a day. That was how amazing it was. Go early to avoid the long queues and remember that the shop can only accommodate 5 customers at a time 🙂
3. Google Maps navigated me to the kitchen, further down Haji Lane at first. The actual bakery is in a green building on the right side as you enter from North Bridge Road. I don’t know why I ordered a hot chocolate in the heat of the day, but it was amazing and worth the hype. I tried 3 different pastries and all were good, but the pain au chocolat was the best.

1. I love the Taro Or Nee pastry so much! Must try their limited quantities of Taro Orh-nee Polo! Their Taro Orh Nee Donut is not bad too! The doughnut and polo got a lot of filling! Of course, their other pastries look good too! The staff are very nice and polite. They informed us when the Taro Orh Nee Polo will be ready, they only make 100pcs per day. So, make sure you go there at the right time. I was there around 12.30 pm.
