1. Absolutely love the ambience of the cafe. As someone who loves the nature, i love that i can view the Yishun pond and the greenery while sipping on the tea. There were people working and doing their own thing, while i was there to journal. It was such a pleasant and relaxing experience, great cafe to unwind, decompress and get away from the busyness of life. Golden buckwheat tea was fragrant, nutty and toasty. The location is quite accessible too, convenient to come via public transport. Will definitely be back!
2. A cozy and comfortable place. The cafe was extremely quiet and well maintained. Prices of their drinks are very reasonably priced and affordable. Staff are friendly and polite. Air conditioning was very refreshing. Will highly recommend checking out this place for a chill afternoon *Note You order at counter and pay when you are done with your meals / drinks (From my experience).
3. Finding a quiet place to relax and recharge over the weekend is challenging in Singapore. My husband and I are introvert people who love to get out from home occasionally. We went to Tzu Chi and Jing Si Books and Cafe to spend a couple of hours and love the atmosphere here. The music played softy, matching with the vibe. While enjoying the simple dessert and black coffee. Such a perfect place to unwind!

1. Rare to find a good cafe around here. Tried them first on Deliveroo and then went down to have lunch. Became a regular option for me. Have had several things on the menu including pasta, meat, all-day breakfast and really enjoyed them. Regular service staff was also very polite and professional.
2. Food is nice, service as well. Love the atmosphere and music. Very conducive place during non peak hour for hangout. The only drawback is there are 2 houseflies hovering our food. Glad the staff responded fast to our concern.
3. I was on the hunt for a cozy cafe where I could eat some delicious food while diving into some serious studying. That’s when I stumbled upon Refuel J9. The ambiance is wonderfully spacious, and I was thrilled to find that it’s conveniently accessible by direct bus. I treated myself to a mouthwatering burger and fries, accompanied by a rich mushroom soup and a steaming cup of black coffee. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. After savoring my hearty meal, I pulled out my Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. The atmosphere was simply perfect for reading, with just the right amount of light—not too bright, yet not too dim. I was fortunate to get a seat near a power outlet, allowing me to charge my laptop while I immersed myself in my studies. I will be marking Refuel J9 as one of my go-to spots for reading and a cup of coffee.
