Business Reviews:

1. As a person who loves and has tried a myriad of baked goods, you better believe that Puffs and Peaks is one of the best out there. Their donuts are fluffy and they are super generous with their fillings. My personal favourite is their vanilla donut – delicious, smooth and creamy vanilla custard, just sweet enough to leave you wanting more. They also have great seasonal items and their honey mascarpone cheese cake with lemon whip and THYME crust is TO DIE FOR. Who in this world would put THYME into a cheese cake crust o m g so so so smart and delicious. Pls fight me on this but they truly make the best cheesecakes thanks for listening to my Ted talk.

2. Their cheesecake with the lime curd and salted caramel chocolate cake are perfection. Although the prices have increased to $10 per slice, the portions are generous. Love their chocolate, hojicha, pandan coconut and passionfruit donuts too. Will always support this bakery as long as the standards are maintained 💯

3. What else can i say, other than full satisfaction. The donuts were great comfort food, just the right puffiness and enough filling. The mascarpone cheesecake, oh wow .. left me speechless, what else to say ?

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

While most custom cake orders require three to five days of advance notice, a few artisanal bakeries near Tampines Retail Park allow for next-day collection for semi-customised cheesecakes, where you can add personalised plaques or fruit toppings. For absolute last-minute emergencies, the major commercial confectionery chains in the main transit malls keep whole standard cheesecakes in stock daily.

Yes, with the growing health trend, a couple of specialty wellness cafes and organic home-bakers near Tampines North offer keto-friendly cheesecakes made with sugar substitutes like erythritol and almond flour crusts. Some commercial bakeries in the central malls also offer ‘less sweet’ versions of their signature New York cheesecakes to better cater to the local palate.

For a standard 6-inch to 8-inch whole cheesecake, prices generally range from $45 to $75 depending on the complexity of the flavour and the style (gourmet burnt cheesecakes tend to sit on the higher end). Individual slices usually cost between $7 and $12 at dine-in cafes around the regional centre.

Most fresh cheesecakes purchased from local bakeries can be safely stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for three to five days. If you are buying a Japanese cotton or soufflé cheesecake, it is best consumed within 48 hours to retain its signature fluffy texture before it condensation causes it to deflate.

Yes, Tampines has a wealth of halal options. Several prominent bakeries located within Century Square and Our Tampines Hub are officially halal-certified, offering classic New York style and local fusion cheesecakes. Additionally, many home-based bakers operating in the Tampines East region provide island-wide delivery and self-collection for certified or Muslim-owned bakes.
