Business Reviews:
1. Had the chicken rice there and came to my surprise is really good. Chicken and rice are separated. Taste is really nice, Chili don’t need say. Tip top! Highly recommend to go try if you’re nearby or yu are looking for chicken rice !
2. Very underrated chicken rice. The white chicken is so moist and tender. It has a special soy sauce that makes it stands out from the rest. The Chilli n ginger sauce are also very good. One plate is $3.50 and only $12 for half chicken . I happened to walk across this chicken rice stall after queuing for a long time at the next door famous Teochew Fishball noodles that I saw another customer walked away with a tray of nice looking chicken rice and I was impressed by its fresh look. So I ordered a plate and lo and behold, it was indeed so good I think it can fight with Tian Tian and the other well known ones.
3. Anytime better than the Tong Fong Fatt outlet several stalls away – we tried both concurrently out of curiosity, and Lai Lai is definitely better tasting on all fronts- the rice, the chicken, the soup and the chilli. If you are this hawker centre and fancy eating chicken rice, Lai Lai is the only choice.
