1. My favorite chicken rice, everything from meat to rice to chilli to soup to achar is perfect. 鸡尾lover here and it is always “sold out” no matter how early you come. However, if you order the 2 people set meal and ask for 鸡尾, they will gladly mix it in for you.
2. When mentioned about Hainanese Chicken Rice in Singapore, most of the time tourists will probably only know the famous Tian Tian that that Tourism Board used to promo. But the real good one was only local will know. We are here not discuss the Kampung Chicken but the real meat chicken, which usually fat and meaty. 925 Yishun was probably the best in my opinion, which they does won voted the best Hainanese Chicken Rice during one of the Singapore domestic food competition sometime ago. Their chicken was meaty and tender but not that soft like TT, you will enjoy chewing the tasty chicken meat, unlike TT that almost melting in mouth. In fact, the biggest difference is the overall taste was more punchy and heavier full of flavors. Another great difference too, their rice, simply fragrance and delicious, eating by itself will already satisfy. Full of chicken oil flavour, rice is moist and juicy. During lunch time, definitely will be very crowded, and queue is needed. And price is slightly higher than usual food stall but still comparable to the famous TT, selected chicken parts ranging from $5 and above. For such great, I will say worth it. Additional unique part of 925 Yishun is their chicken rice side vegetables is marinated Ahcha cucumber and carrots, sweet and sour taste with a it of spiciness, that’s simply the best compliment to the chicken rice. Definitely recommended.
3. Have been eating this chicken rice for years, still one of my favourite. Ordered chicken portion for 3 pax and just nice for 2 of us. Love their rice, meat and chilli. After dining there, still cant get enough of it and has to tabao one home to eat for tea break. Many other food options available at the coffeeshop as well.

1. Totally worth the wait. It was buzzing with customers during lunchtime. The flavors were on point, especially the tender steamed chicken. Our order included curry noodles, char siew noodles, prawn laksa, roasted chicken rice, steamed chicken, and braised egg. Will definitely come back again!
