Business Reviews:
1. This is one Chinese Restaurant that serve really good and worthy Cantonese Cuisine in a heartland area. Especially their signature Moonlight Rice Vermicelli With Egg White and Scallop.. an rather unique and flavourful dish. Their Dim Sum dishes were also surprisely good, like their Fried Shrimp Wanton (Crunchy exteriors, succulent, flavourful fillings) , Carrot Cake, Deep Fried Yam Puff with Minced Pork (Good Texture) and Pork Porridge (Smooth textured & flavorful). Also like their Lychee Sweet & Sour Pork (Crispy Crust, Tender Cubed Meat and well balanced sauce mixture). They have a team of attentive service staffs thus the overall lunch experience was good.
2. Tried their old coconut soup with chicken and Supreme Fried Rice with Bacon and Asparagus. Coconut soup is ok, but Fried rice is very good!
3. Try the Starlight Rice Noodles!

3. Dajie Makan Place
Specialising on Hainan Chicken Rice and Mala Hotpot made with local ingredients and centuries-old recipes, Dajie Makan Place is a Chinese restaurant in Bukit Batok. Da Jie Niang Dou Fu was founded in 2007 and has received praise from Lian He Wan Bao, Berita Minggu, and The Straits Times. We relaunched as Dajie Makan Place in 2022 after placing as finalists in “Hawker Master Chef 2012” and having an exhibit at Singapore’s Favorite Food Village. Her love was ignited at a crucial point when she witnessed Muslim friends enjoying halal Chinese cuisine. After coming back to Singapore, she opened Dajie to introduce this culinary charm—which combines cosiness, family, and the joy of gathering—to the Muslim community. Dajie is a place where customs are honoured and memories are created, not just a restaurant.
Business Reviews:
1. This is a halal place serving chicken rice of above acceptable taste & decently priced. This is my go to place when my wife wants to tabao chicken rice with gizzard because they serve a rather large potion of gizzard with the rice. Chilli are also reasonably good & they can tabao soup too at no additional cost.
2. My to go place for lunch and dinner. My favourite Niang Dou Fu in Singapore. The soup base is fresh and tasty. Various options are available.
3. They just recently launched halal mala in this outlet and it’s super nice. 💛 Reasonable pricing, the staffs are more friendly now! Everything is served clean, tasty and sincerely. My requests of packing n separating other dishes or packs are always met, they are very meticulous and fast 🙂 Allhamdulilah.
