Business Reviews:

1. Enjoyed Sunday’s lunch at this One-Michelin starred Californian-Italian Osteria. Seated at their alfresco terrace, slightly hot even in a cloudy day. If you like alfresco style, you can see two resident Mynah birds happily enjoying Italian cuisine leftovers at the plate collection section near our table, love it or not depends if you are a bird lover ;P . Overall the antipasti crispy garlic burrata, pasta Maltagliati duck ragu , Proscuitto pizza, mains of grilled lamb, chicken and wagyu tagliata did what Nancy Silverstone’s quote intended “it is important when you create dishes for a menu, that the dishes you put in are dishes that bring people back”. On the other hand, Olive oil cake gelato dessert was a miss for me, the olive oil used for the gelato could be of a better quality in my opinion. Yes! Will be back when cravings hit!

2. It has been too many years since I visited Osteria Mozza, the last visit was still at the previous location at MBS. Came on a weekday, the set lunch was great. Food was still as good as I remembered. Starters were the highlights, house wine accompanies the food well, pizza are good as always. Restaurant accommodated our table with infant really well. Extremely family friendly even though most of the diners were for business lunches.

3. Had a pleasant dining experience here and the service was excellent! Our attendant Margarette was gracious from the start, from explaining the dishes we were ordering to giving great recommendations for drinks. However, the dishes took quite some time to be served, perhaps due to many guests. I was celebrating my birthday there and they served a birthday desert as well as a polaroid with a card which was super cute! We sat at alfresco which was a little warm but overall the vibes and atmosphere were great. It was also not too noisy and we could enjoy our dinner peacefully.

1. pasta was so yummy and nice! friendly staff Amelia, Siti & Azfar attended to us and were always smiley! drinks wise just a small comment on the hot chocolate that it was not that hot and a little too milky. nevertheless the whole experience was great and will come back again 🙂

2. You can choose from 3 different type of noodles (they provide it the raw ones on the table before ordering via qr). Had rose duck with chili flakes & extra spinach. The smoked duck was so plump & tender, the rose sauce was creamy but light and tangy. The noodles are definitely al dente so every bite was perfect. Ice tea was a little too pricey imo ($7). Great service provided from Azfar & Amelia!

3. Had an amazing experience at Tipo! The service was top-notch — Amelia, Siti, and Azfar were absolutely spectacular. Super friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Everything came out fast and they made the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Huge compliments to the team for their energy and professionalism! Definitely coming back again.

1. My second visit to Lino restaurant, the ambience was really cozy; I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was tasty and the staff were friendly. I liked the Vongole Linguine, Braised lamb shank (which was nice and tender), Mussels, and Prawn (the seafood was really fresh). The pizzas also tasted good with a thin crust. For dessert, the Tiramisu was a must-try with its rich and creamy flavor. I will definitely bring more friends here. Thank you, Chef Dalton, for all the food recommendations.

2. the food is good, i like ambience feel warmth and cozy and also suitable to the family gathering, staff are friendly and attentive. i especially enjoyed the salmon trout as the sauce compliments the salmon really nicely and the salmon was cooked perfectly. i also enjoyed the special carbonara pizza and felt that the amount of sauce was just right for each slice.

3. Just had lunch at Lino with my family (at Forum, Orchard). Great food and great service. We were quite full after our meal of Pastas and Chicken (Pork Bolognese Spaghettini & Truffle Cream Chittara & Chicken Saltimbocca) and so ordered a slice of Tiramisu to be shared with my daughter..but the chef was sooo sweet to give us a huge Tiramisu cake as he noticed there were 4 of us at the table. 10 points for the service, thoughtfulness and for the Tiramisu (with Vanilla Cream and Amaretto! 🤤🤤). A huge thank you to the chef too!!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Most Italian spots in Orchard fall into the “Smart Casual” category. While you won’t need a tuxedo, many higher-end restaurants (especially those located within 5-star hotels) discourage slippers, flip-flops, and singlets. For dinner service, men are generally expected to wear covered shoes and long trousers.

Prices vary significantly based on the setting:

  • Casual/Trattoria style: Expect to pay $25–$45 for a main pasta or pizza.
  • Mid-range/Upscale: A three-course meal typically ranges from $80–$150 per person, excluding alcohol.
  • Set Lunches: Many Orchard restaurants offer excellent value weekday set lunches starting from $35–$55, which is a popular “hack” for locals.

Yes. Modern Italian menus in Singapore are very accommodating. You will almost always find vegetarian classics like Margherita pizza or Eggplant Parmigiana. For gluten-free requirements, many kitchens now stock gluten-free pasta, though it is always safer to call 24 hours in advance to ensure they have it ready.

Orchard Road is a family hub, so many Italian restaurants provide high chairs and child-friendly cutlery. While “kids’ menus” aren’t universal, chefs are usually happy to prepare a simple Pasta Pomodoro (tomato sauce) or Bolognese for younger diners.

Most Italian restaurants in Orchard serve pork (e.g., pancetta, prosciutto) and alcohol, so they are not Halal-certified. However, there are select Muslim-owned establishments or those that use no pork/no lard in their preparation. Always check the specific menu for “No Pork/No Lard” indicators.
