1. Drim is a truly authentic Korean restaurant that really stands out. Their signature noodles, made fresh on the spot, are a highlight; wonderfully chewy with a deep, satisfying umami flavour that you can immediately taste. The galbitang is excellent, with incredibly tender meat and a broth that’s clean, refreshing, yet surprisingly deep and comforting. Don’t miss the yukjeon as well; flavourful, unique, and beautifully done, making it a memorable dish you won’t easily find elsewhere. If you’re looking for genuine Korean flavours and quality execution, Drim is well worth a visit.
2. We had a wonderful dining experience at DRIM. Special thanks to Shin, Cheri, and You Heng for the excellent service. They were all attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service truly stood out. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return again!
3. We were attended to by Ziyi, whose service was exemplary. She provided clear and detailed explanations of each dish as it was served. The food was fresh and of high quality. We had the beef and pork set, priced at $169 per person, and found the noodles particularly enjoyable. The team also kindly arranged a complimentary cake to celebrate my friend’s birthday, which we greatly appreciated. It was an excellent dining experience, and we will certainly return.

1. Food and service and atmosphere made the wait completely worthwhile. It felt like an authentic Korean experience — the chicken was incredibly tender, the rice perfectly sticky and chewy. The side dishes were spot on. I also appreciated the quality serviettes and towels, which made the dining experience even more comfortable. Service was prompt, and everything was just so pleasant. Splendid. Highly recommended.
2. We waited about an hour to get a table, but the food was worth it. The Perilla Seed Samgyetang was my favourite — rich, comforting, and very flavourful. The Collagen Herbal and Hangover soups were also tasty in their own ways. Chicken was tender, the broth wasn’t too salty, and overall the meal felt very hearty. Service was polite and the place has a cosy atmosphere. Would come back again, especially on a rainy day.
3. I m pretty amazed by the food. I would give a 4 star but due to their tip top service esp the manager super attentive n even go the extra mile by giving us some ginseng to add into the soup some side dish to try for free. Truly appreciated him making an effort to make thgs so prefect giving me n my frenz such a wonderful first time experience so unforgettable. Thank u so much. We had the beauty Samgyetang soup 10/10, tender chicken so flavourful soup w the glutinous texture rice , on mine. That was heavenly 😍 The Minari pancake 9/10, super love it too. Perfect w the sauce 🤤 Dried deep fried fish 5/10,. Alittle sweet, not to my liking. Overall rating 9.5/10.

1. Kimchi Dining brings Korean food to the next level. Food is excellent and the staff are great people, especially Sherise. She took care of us and gave solid recommendations. We had the 2 pax set that came with a kimchi platter, special bread, pork collar spread (so tender and flavourful), potato pancake (wow!) and pork noodle soup. Ended off with desert comprising of a sesame ice cream and chocolate tart. Deserts were both really special! Wha a delicious meal we had. Definitely go back for more. Go there hungry or you may end up bringing some food home. Highly recommended.
2. The service is impeccable, staff are attentive and welcoming. Thanks to Jeane and Niko for making us feel so comfortable during our dinner. The food is so unique with its presentation with authentic flavours and tablewares. This is my 2nd time dining here and I highly recommended their Makgeolli and their set menus.
3. Reimagined Korean cuisine with a modern take! We took the set for 2 pax, $55 per pax. We love every single dish particularly the potato pancake with truffle mayo – almost like a Korean version of rosti & the tender juicy sliced pork jowl. I came here specially for the black sesame ice cream and glad it didn’t disappoint. It will be better if the popcorn on the base has a crunchier texture.

1. Visited 22 Nov 2025 to celebrate my son’s birthday. The food served is virtually top of the line. The meat especially the beef is soft and succulent. The cold noodles, soup, pan cakes are delicious and no complaints. Just have to try it 😂
2. First time eating at Seoul restaurant. My friend and I went for the premium meat selection (all you can eat) which was $120, about $30 more than the normal meat selection. It was definitely worth the splurge. I didn’t get to take more pictures as we were just engrossed with enjoying the food. Love the seafood pancakes as well. The highlight was definitely the meat. You can see from the pictures. Will definitely come back again.
3. The seating is spacious although the noise from other tables may leak over. The staff are friendly and patiently explains your queries and ensure you are at ease. The charcoal grill(if Ala carte bbq) orders were meticulously grilled by the staff. Joseph carried out the service and he ensured all the mest grilled were of the best quality. It was an enjoyable meal and experience!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Are Korean restaurants near Orchard generally halal-friendly?
Most Korean restaurants in the Orchard area are not halal-certified, as traditional Korean cuisine commonly uses ingredients such as pork, alcohol-based marinades, and fermented sauces like gochujang or doenjang that may contain alcohol. That said, some Korean eateries do offer halal-friendly menu options, including chicken, beef, or seafood dishes prepared without pork or alcohol.
These options may not be fully halal but can be suitable for diners who are flexible with their dietary preferences. Singaporean diners who require halal compliance are encouraged to review menus in advance, ask about ingredient preparation, or check whether the restaurant is open to making modifications upon request.
2. What is the average price range for Korean food in the Orchard area?
Korean restaurants near Orchard generally fall within the mid-range to upscale dining category, largely due to higher rental costs in this prime shopping district. For casual dining, individual dishes such as stews, rice bowls, or noodle dishes typically range from $15 to $25 per person.
Korean BBQ meals, which often include premium cuts of meat and unlimited side dishes, usually cost between $30 and $50 per person, depending on portion size and quality. Higher-end establishments or specialty dining experiences may exceed this range, especially if imported ingredients or curated tasting menus are involved.
3. Do Korean restaurants in Orchard require reservations?
Reservations are not always mandatory, but they are strongly recommended for Korean restaurants near Orchard, especially during dinner hours, weekends, and festive periods. Korean BBQ spots, in particular, tend to have longer dining times and limited grill tables, which can result in long queues for walk-in customers.
Making a reservation helps secure your preferred time slot and ensures a smoother experience, especially if you are dining with family, friends, or colleagues. For popular dining periods, booking a few days in advance is usually a safe choice.
4. Are Korean BBQ restaurants in Orchard suitable for group dining?
Yes, Korean BBQ restaurants in Orchard are generally very suitable for group dining, as the cuisine is designed around sharing and communal meals. Many restaurants offer larger tables, sharing platters, and set menus that cater to different group sizes, making them ideal for birthdays, reunions, or work gatherings.
The interactive nature of Korean BBQ also adds to the social experience, allowing diners to grill and enjoy food together. For larger groups, it is recommended to inform the restaurant ahead of time so seating arrangements and grill setups can be properly prepared.
5. What are the best times to visit Korean restaurants in Orchard to avoid crowds?
To enjoy a quieter dining experience, the best times to visit Korean restaurants near Orchard are typically weekday afternoons before 6:00 PM or late evenings after the main dinner rush. Weekday lunches outside of peak office hours can also be relatively calm compared to weekends. Orchard tends to get especially busy on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays due to heavy shopping traffic. Dining during off-peak hours not only reduces waiting time but also allows diners to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere and attentive service.
