Business Reviews:
1. A nice mala xiang guo stall within a coffee shop. The ingredients available are quite standard, but the mala taste is strong and not overpowering. The female boss is very friendly too. There are other dishes available if you are not in the mood for mala. There’s a lot of Sichuan dishes available like chongqing grilled fish, boiled fish/ meat, etc.
2. Nice mala shop!
3. The service was considered good as there were no queue during my visit. Can see that the chef put alot of effort in cooking. Food wise, I think is good. The broth is tasty, noodles tangy and the ingredients are fresh. Will want to eat again if I happens to be in that area. Spend $12 for 2 pax.

Business Reviews:
1. After 9 years at JEM, this popular mala xiang guo spot has moved to Serangoon! We ordered the Mala Xiang Guo, where the meat and vegetables are weighed separately for a more reasonable price. The fragrant and perfectly spiced dish is made with a Sichuan recipe learned by the owner’s wife. Must add maggee!! We also tried the Crispy Grilled Fish, made from fresh, not frozen, market fish. The fish is tender and absorbs the sauce beautifully, paired with five types of vegetables for great value!
2. Very hygienic and well prepared, good variety. Place inside food court behind drinks counter. Staff very helpful, arranged fork and spoon for us. 🙂
3. The Mala here is very yummy 😁 definitely a to go spot if you’re craving Mala. The staff lady’s very friendly and attentive to the orders too. Would recommend. 💯

Business Reviews:
1. If you’re craving mala xiangguo, this neighborhood gem is worth a try. Their unique flavor sets them apart from the rest, and the massive range of ingredients ensures there’s something for everyone.
2. Came for dinner and was not disappointed with what we ordered. The MLXG was decently priced. I like that the display makes it easier and abit more hygienic (meat was individually packed). Go for the spiciest level if you want the kick – we didn’t order too spicy as not sure how is their spicy meter. Also ordered Lala and Spicy Diced Chicken. Lala portion very generous. Abit of sand only, but spicy taste was good to go with cold drinks. Prefer if the chicken is placed in a larger plate or bowl. The fun of picking and digging thru the pile! But taste and portion wise is really good. For air con, price and comfort, happy to return next time!
3. Great place to look for Mala xiangguo in the east. Loved their 辣子鸡 best! The mala xiang guo is ok but could not get the ma feeling. Maybe we did not order the right level. Anyway, they have a great choice of ingredients and plenty of seating space.

Business Reviews:
1. Often frequent this chain at other outlets & here at nex too. love their mala soup which is a bit different from the traditional mala soup, but this is definitely more drinkable! they charge by weight, min 280g (~$8). can get crowded during peak hours.
2. My girl Loves the Mala here! We ordered dry mala and mala soup . 2nd time here. Previously ordered mild spicy..today we challenged normal spice. Mala soup is nice!!!!! Thumbs up! For the dry, Abit too spicy for my girl .. ordered too much .can’t finish . I think the chef forgot to cut the fish cakes into smaller pieces. 😂
3. Their mala soup is milder, which makes it very pleasant to drink! Recommend medium spicy. All ingredients’ weight are counted together.
