3. Sonny’s Slice Shop
Sonny’s Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria selling one of the best pizzas near Raffles Place, which is known for its hefty 18-inch pizzas and craft beer selection. This neighbourhood joint, created as a love letter to New York, offers a slice of Americana with its 48-hour fermented dough, San Marzano tomatoes, and custom-made toppings. Chef Son, along with partners Shakib Pasha and Charles Porter, brings a passion for simple, honest flavours to every pie. Whether you are grabbing a quick slice or enjoying a casual meal, Sonny’s Pizza promises a delightful dining experience with its attention to detail and premium ingredients. It is the perfect spot for pizza lovers seeking an authentic taste of New York in Singapore.
Business Reviews:
1. If you love New York pizza, you’ll enjoy their wide range of toppings, from the classics to unique options like Korean-style with kimchi. True to New York style, the slices are as big as your hand. They also offer a variety of craft beers, and for those who don’t drink alcohol, there are other beverages available. Just a heads-up, there’s no beer on tap and the crust is a bit thick, so it’s not quite the classic New York thin crust. The atmosphere is great, and you can grab a quick bite in under 15 minutes. The shop doesn’t have air conditioning, but you can choose to sit inside or outside. If you want a whole pie of pizza, they offer that too.
2. Great NYC Style Pizza place. The pizza is very tasty and the staff very nice and helpful. They also have a decent choice of craft beers. They play great music too so you can hang out for a bit. Seating choice and area is a bit small but good enough to have a slice of the cheesy goodness.
3. Genuinely surprised that this joint is only rated 4.3 on Google. Pizza is really good. Had the pepperoni, sausage and the beef and cheese slices which were all good but the pepperoni won hands down. I’d recommend ordering a full-sized one only because the slices, when left out, might not be as fresh and so the crust might not be as crisp and fluffy as a fresh pizza. But that said, the crusts were still awesomely crispy with a nice chew on the dough. The sausage one, however, was just a little wet, perhaps from the peppers on the slice. Chicken wings were tender and crisp but just a little too undercooked inside and salty for my taste. Each slice was filling and went for $8 which was also very affordable. Very decent selection of beers too. Definitely a must try.

Business Reviews:
1. Loved the pizza dough. It was really rustic and tasty pizzas. Calamari was good too! Really appreciate the staff for being accommodating to my little one also. Would probably come back to try out the other pizza flavours. Was most curious about nduja.
2. Awesome pizza’s and great service. Special shout out to Maya who awed us with her excellent customer service skills. We sat outdoors and could take our dog with us, which was such a bonus. The pizza dough was cooked to perfection, smaller size as compared to any other pizza place but you can try few different options from the menu. We had the classic Margherita (kids loved it) / Diavola (enjoyed the spiciness) and the three cheese with honey (loved the cheese an honey combo).
3. One of the better pizza experiences in Singapore. Loved the dough. Flavours were unique and authentic as well.
