His lessons are fast-paced and are extremely productive, and I never felt as though a second at the class was wasted. In my opinion, first impressions are really important, and during my first lesson you can immediately tell that this guy REALLY knows his stuff, such as extremely handy exam-smart tips, and is genuinely passionate and will give his 110% for each student. 1. I enquired via Mr Tong for physics and Mrs Tong for Chem. Mrs Tong shared her teaching flow, speed and even gave me her summarised notes before my girl joined the class. Mr Tong offered other options when my girl cannot make it for the timing of his class. Absolutely passionate teachers. 👍

2. Overall, I had a very positive experience! The notes and lessons build concepts layer by layer so that they are easy to remember and internalise. Mr Tong is an experienced physics tutor who is very committed to teaching, and makes sure that the students are able to truly understand the concepts (as opposed to just ‘grinding questions’) which personally helped me dodge challenging questions during tests that many students would usually skip.

In my experience, JC physics is a steep climb up and the practice worksheets exposed me to a range of challenging questions, helping me maintain a good percentile. As a student who frequently had follow-up questions, having a patient teacher like Mr Tong really helped me improve my grasp of concepts. I would highly recommend joining! The environment is also very conducive for learning (definitely more conducive than the average tuition center)

3. Mr and Mrs Tong are both dedicated tutors who really put in their best efforts to help us improve and they always respond to queries as soon as possible despite their busy schedules. They’re also super approachable and friendly! In secondary 3, I had been struggling in both physics and chemistry. However, after joining their tuition centre, my grades for both subjects managed to improve and I was able to obtain an A in both subjects by the end of Secondary 3. Their patience in explaining all the concepts really help to set my foundation for Junior College as well. Despite the significant jump in difficulty, they explained everything clearly in a way that is easier to understand than in school. Their notes are also concise and very useful for studying. With their guidance, I eventually obtained an A for H2 Physics as well as H2 Chemistry. I’m really grateful for all their guidance, they are both very sincere and amazing teachers who genuinely care for their students 🙂
