1. I really enjoyed this coffee shop. The drinks and cakes was delicious and well-made. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, and the staff were friendly. A great place to chill or work. I would definitely come back. For me, Strawberry Matcha Latte is the best ones.

2. The flat white we ordered were strong and super good. The cakes were light and fluffy and not too sweet. Now, I know why this cafe is always crowded. The service is good too. Ordering and payment is via QR and Apple Pay is accepted.

3. I wanted to find a comfortable cafe nearby, so I searched for this high-rated restaurant on Google. I’m worried that this is a pure punching restaurant, but it‘s not like that! The meal is not only beautiful, but also delicious! The cake is very soft, and I would like to visit the restaurant again for the cake.

1. My 2nd visit within weeks. Love the steak & barramundi. Best acai bowl i had. Great services & vibes. Love their service as the staffs never fail to ask you if everything is ok. Deeply appreciate a complimentary cake for birthday celebration. Definitely worth visiting & will return again.

2. The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. The staff, Tyler was very knowledgable about the cheese selection and was able recommend cheese that suited our palette. The dishes ordered were absolutely delicious and well prepared, truly worth the buck! Charlene was very generous by providing us with a complimentary cake for my partner’s birthday. Will definitely come back again!

3. I’ve been here quite a few times- sometimes on solo dates, and other times I plan a meal with friends. The service is always top notch, the meals are always delicious and well-prepared, and they’re very well-informed on allergies and whatnot. Business Reviews:

1. Me and my wife really enjoyed the Soup of the Day on the day we visited. It was comforting and well balanced in flavor. Tried the staff-recommended Heirloom Beetroot & Blood Orange Salad (V) for the first time and found it quite refreshing and pleasant. The steak was acceptable and cooked to a reasonable standard. My favorite dish of the meal was definitely the Spiced Baked Rainbow Trout — the fish was exceptionally tender, moist, and full of delicate flavor. Highly enjoyable.

2. Had such a lovely dinner tonight with Jie Kenny at Avenue On 3! 🌟 Big thanks to Fiona for giving us a private tour, which really made the evening extra special. We enjoyed the signature salad, sea bass, braised beef (so good!) and finished with the berrymisu. Every dish was delicious, and the attention to detail in the service was just perfect. Truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommend checking it out!

3. Was skeptical and wondering if the reviews were pumped but decided to give it a shot.
Pleasantly surprised. Lamb Pomodoro Linguine was very flavourful and the French omelette was delightful. But the star of the show was the scones. Omg, nv imagined scones to be that great. It was crispy on the outside, moist and warm on the inside. It was accompanied with butter, mozzarella and jam on the side and there were a match made in heaven. To top it off, Vin provided such excellent service despite the crowd. Thanks for your great service Vin, I always look forward to start my day great and positive, and you didn’t disappoint!

1. Cafe is set in an open space at the centre of basement 1. We came here for a group jam art activity so didn’t get to try the food. Service is excellent! The environment and setting is comfortable. The stool complements as a storage for bags. However, after sitting on it, it can be quite difficult to open. In addition, it would be even better if easel could be slightly further apart. Price is reasonable. Paint brushes, palette knives, palettes, paints, tissue, masking tape, apron, and hair dryer are all provided. At the end of the session, they also give a paper bag for you to bring your painting home. Each session costing $50++ for 2 pax also comes with a drink. My cold Honey Yuzu drink is nice!

2. The bonbon mango is delightful, and the lasagna is excellent. They also offer a fantastic breakfast selection, with great coffee to match. The ambience is charming—perfect for artists and painters. Truly an inspiring spot to relax and create.

3. One of the best high teas I’ve ever had! The service staff were super helpful and accommodating. The drinks were served hot and tasted great. And the food—absolutely amazing! A definite must-visit again. My friends and I had a wonderful time at Café de Paris!

2. Eileen was an exceptional waitress, super nice, approachable, attentive and accommodating! We were a big group but all of our orders were made well. Food portion was generous! Thank you Eileen for checking in with us, great service

3. Had a really good dinner here! The food was great and we didn’t have to wait too long for them to arrive despite the crowd! The only downside was that the miso salmon was undercooked when they first served it, but they promptly settled it for us. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If you’re looking to avoid the infamous “Orchard queue,” your best bet is to visit on weekdays before 11:30 AM or during the “dead zone” between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. On weekends, most popular spots see peak traffic from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for brunch.

If you must go on a Saturday or Sunday, aim for an early breakfast at 9:00 AM. Many cafes located on the higher floors of department stores tend to be slightly quieter in the early morning compared to those with street-level entrances.

In 2026, the price of a standard latte at a specialty cafe in Orchard typically ranges from $7 to $9. For a full brunch main—like an avocado toast or a hearty big breakfast—expect to pay between $22 and $35.

When you factor in the 10% service charge and prevailing GST, a single person can expect to spend about $35 to $45 for a complete meal.

While many boutique cafes are “Muslim-friendly” (no pork or lard), actual Halal-certified cafes are less common than standard bistros. However, you can find several Halal options within the basement levels of major shopping centers and inside the newer “lifestyle” malls.

Many of these spots focus on fusion cuisine, combining local flavors with Western brunch classics. It is always best to check the official Halal directory or look for the certificate displayed at the entrance.

Finding a “work-friendly” cafe in Orchard is increasingly difficult due to high footfall. Most establishments now have “No Laptop” policies on weekends and public holidays.

On weekdays, your chances are better, but many cafes have begun disabling power plugs to encourage table turnover.

If you need to work, look for cafes located within quieter office-adjacent buildings at the ends of the Orchard belt (near Dhoby Ghaut or Tanglin) rather than the central flagship malls.

The current trend is “Luxury Casual”—cafes that offer high-end, chef-driven ingredients (like truffle, uni, or wagyu) in a relaxed, non-pretentious setting. There is also a strong move toward “Hyper-Local Fusion,” where traditional Singaporean breakfast ingredients—think kaya, pandan, and salted egg—are being reimagined into French pastries and specialty lattes. Additionally, many newer cafes are focusing on sustainability, using zero-waste coffee beans and eco-friendly packaging.
