1. Hidden gem, one of the most serious coffee joints we have found in Singapore. Also good to know it is just off the Green Corridor in case you get rained out or need some coffee to refuel for the next stretch. Friendly service, warm atmosphere, excellent coffee.
2. Not too noisy/ busy. Music isn’t too loud. Nice place to have coffee and chill.
3. Nice & quiet cafe on a weekend 🙂 Parking is by per entry, and is plenty nearby or in the building itself. Only serve pastry and coffee/drinks, but they are tasty 🙂 the deco is simple yet sleek, enjoyed my me-time here reading and exploring this amazing building.

With attentive baristas dedicated to perfection, Rookie’s Coffee Shop promises an exceptional and flavourful Bukit Merah cafe experience.
Business Reviews:
1. Did not try their bakes but I’ll come back for it. Amazing coffees; owner Junior was very nice to explain the coffee origin and tasting notes. My first time here as I had to collect a parcel nearby. Travelled far and it did not disappoint, ordered the whoop whoop which is essentially a single shot of spro + cortado. Perf combo to try it as a black and white. Espresso: sweet, lemon tea vibes, decent acidity. For the cortado: smooth, Thai tea like, mellow finish. You’ll see me back here for another cuppa and a bake next time ✌️
2. Chill hang out area, both indoor and outdoor. Coffee tastes great, with strong and smooth flowery taste.
3. i’ve never seen so much care, detail and effort put into making coffee. We had a expresso as well as a cappucino. Upon asking, the barista patiently explained how and why they make their coffee the way they do. Super flavourful coffee, very pleasant experience. Delighted to find such a place! Highly recommended.
