Business Reviews:
1. Very good mei cai, fish soup taste averagely good . I won’t make a trip down to eat but will recommend for people that stay nearby. A decent bowl of fish soup, fried fish isn’t very crispy actually. It’s cheap and the kopitiam can be quite humid or hot kind.
2. Very flavourful fish soup, which is not the clear type. Comes with bittergourd, so do state upfront if you do not want this to be added. Ventilation at the coffeeshop is not very good and tables often unclean.
3. Our family and friends ‘go to’ place for no frills, fresh sliced fish or fried fish soup. They also offer other food so it’s easy for non-fish eaters. We like to add fresh meatballs which taste homemade. There is no Msg after-taste and hope they keep it this way. Service is efficient and organised but do expect to Q for 10-20mins on weekends and peak hours. Accept cash or cashless.

Business Reviews:
1. Repeated visits. This has been my favorite soup fish shop. Love their Red Grouper Fish & Prawns soup. $16 a bowl but well worth it. Flavorful, fresh ingredients, generous portion true to its price. The Prawns (3 pieces) are huge and firm and you can taste the freshness of the sea, not the soeaked-in-salted water taste. The minced pork chunks are really good! I called them chunks and not balls because they are seriously huge patties! The groupa fish slices are very fresh and I like that they were of reasonable thick cut so they dont disintegrate easily during the cooking. The soup is slightly on the salty side. The coffeeshop is clean, bright and airy. Overall a nice lunch place with excellent seafood soup. Notting was left on the bowls by the end tells it all! Side note: saw the owner helped an old couple returned their trays. The couple is of age, had the their fish soup and was seated infront of the shop. A kind soul.
2. My all time favourite! The best seafood soup in Singapore ❤️.
3. I’ve been here a few times, but be careful as it often closes early! The soup has a lot of seafood extract and is delicious! However, since there aren’t many seasonings, it doesn’t make you thirsty as much. For $8.5, you get two shrimp, four pieces of fish, and minced pork fishballs, which is a great deal. Rice is also reasonable at $0.50~ Chili has a strong sour taste, so it’s perfect for refreshing your palate!
