1. This is the first time I have seen such a neat food center in Singapore! To my great surprise, in addition to the sink, there is also a hand dryer. The meal options are also very diverse, including Hala food and non-Hala food. There are also partitions when recycling to ensure that Hala food tableware will not be mixed with other food. I think the mix of tableware is very friendly, and you can feel the culture of Singapore’s multi-racial society here.
2. Love the food variety and ambience of the place is nice – not the usual set-up. 2-storey hawker centre with lift anf stairway access. There is a nice park and small playground next to it.
3. Very vibey hawker Center, playing pop songs that everyone will know. Very well ventilated, level 2 is peaceful with seats, except wild olives side. Seats are very well designed as well, with low tables for kids and bar tables for drunkards. Best of all, the tap water for washing hands is working and they even have hand dryer. In other hawker centres, the basins are always so disgusting, but here no. Food in level 2 looks nicer but don’t trust me too much as I only ate wild olives. I think if you have too much time to waste, then queue for it.

TUCKSHOP/ FOOD STALLS in Former LOYANG PRIMARY SCHOOL called VIDACITY, beside Blk 429 Pasir Ris Dr 6, (Where “My First Skool” is housed today) :For PasirRisians, who live nearby, can drop by to check it out. 😀 I feel liberated in such a Spacious,cool airy high ceiling place…good to meet up and hang out, study, chit chat and there’s food if u feel like a bite. This place was the old location of LOYANG PRIMARY SCHOOL on Drive 6 opp the Pentecost Methodist Church.
They converted it to My First Skool childcare and the canteen has been turned to hawker style selling korean, fishball noodle, malay food,drinks stall with toast(morning) while Zi Char, Yummy (BBQ), western SKILLET (rustic urban food) are opened for lunch onwards till evening. I had the Japchae $4 and sardine curry puff ($0.80) from Jeukseok (Korean) for breakfast. It was ok, not bad. Coffee was $1.20. Reasonable price I guess. Drop by & look see look see.
Update: Had the Fish Burger today 7/2, at RUSTIC URBAN FOOD SKILLET. Very good. Crispy filet with fries that remain crispy thru out my meal. Must try. My mum had BeeHoon hor fun. Not too bad. This place lack PUBLICITY. The hawkers should hand a BANNER in front of DRIVE 6 front gate so that people in the neighbourhood knows this Tuckshop exists. I only found out when I walked by at the back side of the school. So Tuckshop owner pls do what u need to promote your food. 😃👍🏻
2. Cooling, clean, comfortable seating and very spacious school tuckshop converted modern coffee shop with Chinese Zi Char, western variety to Korean hotpot (formerly from Changi Village) right next to My First Skool. Ample free parking within the compound too.
3. Loved this atas coffee shop or tuck shop. Brought us back to school day vibes. FREE parking, food wise, no complaint. Friendly boss we met. Looking forward to an official Petfriendly license still. Be back soon for sure. Thank you!
