Business Reviews:
1. This hawker is near my school (NUS) so it’s rather convenient. It’s always clean and hawker workers are very helpful. Food-wise recs: – Braised Duck: Expect long queues, but not bad! I like the soup – Hokkien Mee closer to the bus stop edge: Great Flavour, uses the thick white noodle as seen from pics. Chilli is good too – Lee Soon (?) Fishball Noodle Stall closer to the busstop edge: Best fishballs I had in a while, extremely bouncy (QQ) and firm, not overcooked. Long queue tho – Blue Dragonfly Pork Noodle (Bak Chor Mee) beside the Fishball noodles stall: Amazing and tender pork slices. They use fish balls from the stall beside them too so best of both worlds if u like bcm.
2. The Fish Soup at stall 01-138 is really good. Soup is clear and just tasty enough without tasting like having added seasoning. The Sliced fish is fresh, and the pork meat balls were tasty with a hint of tang cai or salted fish. Soup can be served with rice or noodles. Give it a try. But be prepared to wait
3. Many varieties of food. Reasonable price and delicious, spacious, clean, good dining environment. Convenient transportation. The “butterfly” in the photo seems not very attractive but the taste is very good. It is one of the cheapest in Clementi area — only 90 cents each
