Their Fried Porridge is a filling dish that combines the flavour of your favourite ingredients with the richness of porridge.
Business Reviews:
1. The best fried porridge! I bought the fried porridge with sliced pork and century egg and meatball soup. The fried porridge was very flavourful and tasty and the meatballs in the soup (pepper soup) were chewy and delicious and the soup was nice to drink.
2. Food is consistently nice. Have been following the shop moving to different location. Price of food is also reasonable. You must try the garlic chilli.
3. The fried porridge is amazing! Their braised dishes are great as well but the star of the show really is the fried porridge. The braised intestines are thick and flavourful as well, one of the better braised intestines out there. Do take note that they are moving to a new location @ Blk 101 Yishun Ave 5 (2 Jun onwards) and their last day of operations at Blk 285 Yishun will be on 26 May 2024.

2. Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang

The Indonesian restaurant Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang is well known for bringing the popular taliwang dish to Singapore’s food scene. The original plan for the restaurant was to open a local Nasi Lemak Taliwang Stall in the Yishun Hawker Center. A restaurant that was the pioneer in introducing Singaporeans to the well-known taliwang cuisine. They’ve combined it with their equally simple nasi lemak to create a double sambal dish that will make your taste buds pop. Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang’s major goal is to provide the local community with well-crafted, high-quality nasi lemak. However, it also strives to provide its customers and friendly neighbours with an economical dining experience.
Business Reviews:
1. The hawker centre is pretty much quiet at 2pm on a Monday. The chicken thigh I got was nice and tender. Somehow the bones were separated for you so you don’t have to struggle to detach the joints. Initially I thought the chilli given was too much until I tried the chilli. It was delicious and not overpowering kind of chilli. It looked hot but it was actually a little sweet with a tinge of spiciness. I finished all the chilli given, left nothing to waste. Half an hour after the chilli went down to my stomach, I could feel the “heat” in my tummy.
2. Simply the best nasi lemak i’ve had in singapore. while the name makes you default to the nasi lemak ayam taliwang, which is also very delicious! My personal favorite and the one i recommend is the nasi lemak ayam kecap sambal, the flavors from the kecap sambal are so so wonderful, and combined with the sambal its just something i keep going back to ! although it can be quite spicy for some people, i think the spice is worth it!! always go back to this place, prices are O-K too. : )
3. The grilled chicken comes off the bone easy (even with a flimsy plastic spoon!) , the sambal is one of the jammiest yummiest ones iv tried paired with fluffy rice and the sevice is quick and pleasant, must try!!

3. Munchi Pancakes

Traditional Singaporean pancakes, Min Jiang Kueh (Apam Balik) with a twist, and Munchi Pancakes, which come in a variety of unusual flavours, are all served by Munchi Pancakes. began operations in 2016 as a coffee shop stall at the Yishun Hawker Center, offering classic Ming Jiang Kueh flavoured exclusively with peanut and coconut. Over the course of two years, the modest stand evolved into Munchi Pancakes, which offers more than 20 different product varieties, through constant trial and error in the development of new flavours. Delicious, fuss-free, and portable snack for on-the-go consumption. That is really convenient right now.
Business Reviews:

4. Smokin’ Joe

Smokin’ Joe, located in the Yishun Park Hawker Center, seeks to provide the general public with good, reasonably priced grilled Western food. Only available in restaurants, the premium beef is 100% charcoal grilled to a beautiful char. In the centre of the Yishun neighbourhood, he is the first person to introduce the well-known Spanish Josper oven to a hawker stand. He uses a professional oven and his fire control skills to create a procedure that traps heat inside thick walls, giving the meat a smoky flavour while retaining all of its natural juices.
