Shahi Maharani promises a royal feast for all its patrons.
Business Reviews:
1. Amazing food, great service. The mini puris were an absolute delight – refreshing and delicious. Love the mint chutney too. The okra was tasty and with good spice (not the heat but real spice). Wish I chose the tender but the tandoori chicken was just as good.
2. We went here with some clients on a business dinner and this place lived up to the expectations. Its nice and clean and the interiors are well done and elegant. One feels traditional and comfortable when we go into this place. We ordered Beer, Mango Lassi, Singapore Sling and then also in food options, we tried the Murg Tikka, Fish Tikka and Tandoori sabziyan. For the main course, we tried the mutton vindaloo, Baingan bharta and Bengali fish curry. For the deserts, we tried the mango sorbet which was decent. The service was also very good and no complaints on that aspect.
3. Went there for lunch buffet. They offer 1-1 lunch buffet deal on weekdays. Delicious breads and paneer. Sweets were too tempting. Restaurant was accommodating enough to allow us to join the buffet just 20 mins before the end time. They operate 12 noon to 2.30 pm for lunch. Kids below 5 years dine free.

Despite a slightly warm outdoor setting, the memorable service and exquisite dishes make Anglo Indian a must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts.
Business Reviews:
1. Visited Anglo Indian Cafe & Bar @ their Chijmes outlet on a Thursday evening and sat outdoors. Pictured: Prawn Star, Chicken Dum Briyani (with a lovely raita at the side), Laccha Paratha (buttery and flaky!), Naan, Fish Masala (went very well with the rest). We also tried the Gobhi Manchurian (cauliflower coated in a tangy sweet-sour sauce, not pictured) – this was an interesting fusion between Indian and Chinese, might have been my favourite discovery that night! 🙂
For drinks, I tried one of the newest cocktails – checkout the super cute apple that the drink came in! 🍎 Tasted as good as it looks haha. Overall, it was a lovely evening spent @ Anglo Indian Cafe & Bar! Special shoutout to Ali for your awesome service ~
2. We had a wonderful experience at the Anglo Indian cafe. The food, service, location, everything was good. The staff is very polite and friendly. Mr. Ali, helped us with the orders.
3. Our evening at this Indian restaurant was nothing short of delightful. The ambience, though a tad warm in the semi-open setting, provided a great backdrop to our gathering. The menu boasted truly tasty Indian dishes with a symphony of multi-layered flavors and spices, striking a perfect balance – not too spicy, just comfortably flavorful.
The staff’s warmth and proactiveness enhanced our experience. Special shoutout to Ali, who added a delightful touch of humor, making our evening light-hearted and enjoyable. We even celebrated a birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond, playing the birthday song and joining in the celebration, creating an amazing and memorable moment. Despite the warmth, the overall experience, coupled with the fantastic food and friendly staff, ensures that we’ll be back for more. This Indian gem has earned its place on our list of go-to places for an excellent dining experience. Highly recommended! (:

Business Reviews:
1. Excellent Indian restaurant in Raffles Hotel, Singapore. Excellent service and exceptional food. Wine list was quite extensive and reasonably priced for Singapore. We shared one starter, two mains which was plenty. Menus and prices are on the web site, reasonable for the quality and location
2. Been back here a few times and loved the space, service and food. YY was a fab sommelier who always suggests us delicious wines to try. Tony and Theresa were very attentive. For the foods we tried, we loved them all. I love their Papdi Chaat and always order this dish whenever we come. We had the tasting platter and the prawns were very yummy. Lamb tasty but a bit dry though. Chicken was tender. Briyani, Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi and Naans were flavourful. Not tried the other dishes yet.
3. Quality North Indian food. Their appetiser game is stronger than mains game. Highly recommend the pulled lamb appetiser. Breads may have been the best ones I had thus far – especially Garlic Nan. Spent 360 SGD for 2 people.
