1. The Pine Garden
A beloved childhood bakery, The Pine Garden enchants with its mouth watering selection of cakes and pastries. Famous for their curry buns and lunches, customers enjoy the nostalgia that each bite evokes. Their creative ability is evident in the mango passion fruit cake and mahjong-themed dessert, which perfectly balance sweetness and flavour. Their Black Sesame Mochi Cheesecake has been receiving praise lately for its velvety texture and nutty, earthy flavour. Even if some people think the famous peanut cake has changed a little, The Pine Garden’s dedication to excellence has not changed, so every mouthful continues to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Business Review:
1. My childhood bakery place… My all time favourite for luncheon buns and curry buns. I love their mango passion fruit cake too. Bought this mahjong theme cake for a birthday occasion. Their cakes are yummy and not so sweet compare to others. Will always be back to support my local bakery.
2. I love their creativity when it comes to the flavors. Yam one was not too sweet (👍🏼) and there were chunks of yam inside. It’s good for Yam lovers. Lychee Martini was good, much sweeter than the yam flavored cake. …
3. Tried their new item – Black Sesame Mochi Cheesecake & it’s so good! Nutty, earthy & cheesy! The mochi remains moist & soft even after chilling. Noticed the peanut grains on the signature peanut cake are notably lesser. Overall their standard remains unchanged, still fluffy & tasty since I last had them 2 years ago.

With its flawless blend of flavour, texture, and scent, Y2 Bakery’s pandan waffle offers a sublime experience for fans of the dish. Despite a few small parking issues, customers enjoy the flawless execution and inexpensive costs, as recommended by Pandan Pig herself. Y2 Bakery is the perfect blend of crunchy pleasure and unmatched fulfilment.
Business Review:
1. Eatbook has a waffle 🧇 episode and recommended this bakery for it’s chocolate 🫕 and peanut 🥜 butter and chocolate 🍫 and cheese 🧀 waffles. This is the chocolate and cheese waffle- the waffle is very crispy and delicious. The chocolate melts into the waffles and the cheese adds that right note of savoury to this treat 🙂 There was a queue for the waffles as it’s popular with the residents! You can eat at the nearby hawker centers while waiting for it or shop at Giant.
2. The place I’d go to curb a Pandan waffle craving. Sufficient Pandan taste and smell, thickness is perfect and texture is crispy on the outside and kueh-ish on the inside. I visited thanks to Pandan Pig’s recommendation as one of her personal favourites, and was not disappointed. Prices are extremely reasonable too. Only slight issue is the parking but that’s not within their control.
3. The waffles are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. My mom also agreed that it’s pandan flavour was on point

3. Four Leaves– Ang Mo Kio Branch
Four Leaves Bakery astonishes customers with its kind service and delicious delights. Even at off-peak hours, patrons praise the personnel for their patient and friendly service. The Hokkaido soft cake evokes warmth and contentment with its beautiful texture and subtle lack of cheese flavour. Four Leaves, which is located in AMK Hub’s basement, has a wide variety of bread, including well-liked options like tuna and egg mayo. Petit bits’ ease of use makes flavour discovery and pleasure guilt-free. Even if they accept a number of payment options, AMEX-paying customers might not be satisfied. All in all, Four Leaves Bakery offers sweet treats in modest settings.
Business Review:
1. Not sure why the ratings are so low for this outlet. I have always had good experience with the kind and patient aunties manning the store. Went on a late Saturday evening and the aunties were cleaning up but they did not rush me to make any purchase or chase me out.
2. It’s a standard bakery housed at the basement of AMK Hub. Pretty straightforward, with the kinds of bread that they serve up. We especially liked the petit pieces, that allow you to sample the different flavors, having the flexibility of not needing to over-commit to any. Do try their tuna and egg mayo bread. They accept most forms of payments as well, except AMEX unfortunately.
3. Cake is delicious..
