A long-standing favourite among residents, Taste of Thailand offers authentic and affordable Thai food at Yishun that keeps diners coming back. Located at Yishun Avenue 5, this family-style eatery is known for its no-frills setting and big flavours. Their Thai-style deep-fried fish, tom yum soup, and pineapple fried rice are among the best sellers. The portions are generous and ideal for family sharing.
Locals appreciate the consistency in taste and the wallet-friendly prices. It’s a great place to enjoy home-style Thai food without burning a hole in your pocket. Taste of Thailand combines nostalgia with quality, making it a must-visit Thai restaurant in Yishun. Whether it’s a casual dinner or weekend family outing, this place delivers a satisfying meal every time.
1. The total damage for all four dishes was just $53, very reasonably priced. Do take note that they only accept cash payment. The pineapple fried rice is a must try in my opinion, it was really very good. The pork rib was amazingly good as well. The tom yum soup, however, was a bit average and underwhelming in my opinion. Although they are called Taste of Thailand, I felt the food leaned more towards a Chinese style. Service was super fast.
2. This restaurant is in my must have list. The foods taste nice, service is good too. You definitely won’t need to wait long after you placed your order. It is quick, swift and steady. I love what we ordered.
3. The food was nicely done and delicious except for the black pepper beef which was quite chewy for my family. The crab was superb good , and the pricing was quite reasonable for that 2 big crab. Overall still highly recommended.
