𝗢𝗿𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲 ($𝟰.𝟮𝟬) ☁️
Humble Bakery prides themselves on their mochi scones – and it’s no wonder that this is one of their bestsellers. This scone had a delightfully chewy mochi wrapped by a smooth taro paste and encased in their original scone pastry 😮💨 The subtle sweetness from the yam paired well with the mochi, and made the scone not too dry. Just look at the mochi pull! 🤩

This is our third time getting this flavour because we absolutely loved it. This was a great balance between savoury from the parmesan cheese and sweetness from the callebaut white chocolate. 🍫 Crispy on the outside, yet soft, fluffy and moist on the inside, the texture of their scones were also on point! 🫶🏻 Humble Bakery may be unassuming, but their scones are definitely worth a try. Many have said their indoor seating area is pleasant, and provides a brief respite from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. They are definitely our go to when we’re craving scones!
3. Saw this bakery by chance while running errands. The double chocolate with kafir lime scone is to die for. The sudden burst of butter lingers while you are eating, savouring the scone. This is followed by the subtle taste and smell of kafir lime. Even after finishing the scone the taste still lingers a few hours later. The oat latte compliment the scone or vice versa. Will come back again for other scones.

Business Reviews:
1. Was pleasantly surprised by the rice bowl and bagel! I only knew them for their cookies and brownies but the other items on the menu are delicious as well! I tried the beef bowl and the beef was juicy and tender. The almond butter and jelly bagel was great as well. The bagel was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Of course it js a must to get the chunk choc cookie! The rich and gooey chocolate middle is to die for!
2. Popular for their oozy cookies and brownies but did you know they have mains too? We enjoyed the OG beef bowl which was a good balance of greens, corns, and well marinated teriyaki beef. The salmon bagel was generously loaded and rich. Do note that it’s a takeaway mainly with only two corner seats.
3. I’ve always loved Whiskdom for their big, chunky, ooey-gooey cookies and oozing brownies, but their new outlet at One Raffles Place pleasantly surprised me! In addition to their iconic treats, they now serve lovely bagels and rice bowls. I tried the Chick Please bagel with truffle aioli and the Salmon Delight rice bowl with mentaiko sauce—both were absolutely delicious! Their drink menu is also impressive, featuring a matcha latte series, coffee, and more. The purple taro latte is not only tasty but also very pretty. To top it off, Whiskdom is halal-friendly, making it a great spot for everyone. Highly recommend visiting this new outlet for a delightful experience!

1. Omg so so so so good scones and madeline!! The looks of the bakery like nothing much but it has one of best pastries in Singapore. Seriously. A true hidden gem. The garlic scone, vanilla madeleine and financiers are so fragrant, buttery, soft and divine. I already want to buy again.
2. the owner is super cheery and nice 🤩 👉🏼Scallion Cheddar Scone, $2.20 (3pcs for $5.80) light and crumbly, just how i like em 😋 the hint of cheddar was justt right and the center being soft n warm while the crust stayed crisp is defo a dub 🤟 👉🏼Dark Chocolate Valhorna Madeline v fluffy and soft 💋 the chocolate is solid and it’s not too sweet at all rlly enjoyed this one teehee 😍 👉🏼Chocolate Banana the banana taste is v strong so it’s almost like eating banana bread 🙂 idm tho i dooo wish the choc taste was stronger to compliment the strong banana taste 😗 apparently their bread is rlly yummy but when i got thr it wasn’t ready yet 🥹 i’m just glad i got a chance to try these treats since they close at 330pm and on weekends 😮💨🙏🏼 🚨🚨 do check me out @yumnomss on ig and lemon8 xoxo! 😋
3. I was sceptical as they do mini bakes, which remind me of buffets which do petit fours that are often dry. But the three pastries I chose were buttery and divine. Original madeleine – 4.5 stars. Buttery and moist. I haven’t had many madeleines but this was definitely the best I’ve had. Scallion scone – 4.5 stars.Thought I’d need butter but I didn’t. Earl grey and fig scone – 4.5 stars Shame that they don’t sell sourdough loaves anymore!
